Bears Fall to #4 Clemson

MACON, Ga. – The Bears fell against #4 Clemson University this afternoon.Â
How It Happened
    Clemson served three strikeouts to start the game and picked up offensively at the bottom of the first with three runs on three hits. Grace Taylor was able to pick up a strikeout before a flied out to Parris Wiggs ended the inning. The Bears had two three up three down innings offensively. Clemson gets six runs on seven hits in the bottom of the second. Riley Hickok stepped into the circle at the bottom of the thirds as the Tigers lead 9-0. Clemson went on a hot streak to get six runs on four hits to finish out the third leading 15-0. Mercer was unable to pick up their offensive game and Clemson took the game in five innings 18-0.

    The Bears will be on the road this weekend to Gainesville, FL for the University of Florida Tournament. The tournament will host Rutgers University, the University of Flordia, and the University of Louisiana.Â
