Bears Fall to #11 UGA

ATHENS, Ga. – Bears fall to the #11 Bulldogs this afternoon.
How It Happened
    The Bulldogs sat the Bears down in order in the first and the second. UGA picked up four runs in the top of the first and second. Lillian Wilkerson was hit by pitch to start the top of the third. Alyssa Woods single to record the first hit of the game. Both were left stranded. Going into the fourth UGA lead 11-0.Â
    Tori Hedgcock walked to start the Bears. Kylie Helm doubled to left field to bring her home. The fifth finished with Georgia on top 13-1. In the top of the fifth, Alyssa Woods singled, but would be caught in a double play. The Bulldogs would take the game in five, 13-1.
Up Next
    The Bears will be at home this weekend, April 28-29, to host UNC Greensboro. The first game will be on Friday at 5 p.m. with the doubleheader on Saturday at 2 p.m. Senior day activities will commence after the completion of the second game on Saturday.
