MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's lacrosse program will travel to Lindenwood University for their final regular season game on Saturday, April 29 at 1 p.m. EST.

RECENT ACTION
Head coach Ryan Danehy and the Bears defeated Queens University 18-5 on senior day on Saturday, April 22. The Bears move to 5-9 on the season and 4-4 in ASUN Conference play.

Eleven Bears contributed to the scoring on the afternoon. Senior attackman Karl Klepper led the way for the Bears with three goals of his own. Senior attackman Parker Junod scored three goals and tallied two assists. Senior midfielder Matt O'Connor and Sophomore midfielder Christian Laureano, junior attckman Taylor Dooley had two goals for the Bears. Senior midfielder Khory Reid, freshmen midfielder Thomas Strong, junior defensemen Ben Lever, senior midfielder Dean Draughn, junior attackman Jack Parolin, and freshmen attackman Zach Basisty each scored a goal for the bears.

SCOUTING LINDENWOOD
Lindenwood is led by Jim Lange who is entering his tenth season as head coach for the Lions. The Vikings are currently 2-10 and 1-6 in ASUN conference play. They have had wins over LIU and Queens University.

The Lions return 28 players from the 2022 season, and they welcomed 16 new freshmen. The Lions current leading point scorer is freshmen attackman Wesley Scurci with 26 points (21 goals, 5 assists). Behind Scurci is senior attack Cam Smith with 24 points (17 goals, 7 assists). The Lions third leading point scorer is senior attackman Ryan Kemp with 21 points (16 goals, 5 assists).
