MACON, Ga. – The Mercer softball team will be at Sikes Field this week to host Georgia Tech.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
    The Yellow Jackets are 11-18 on the season with a 2-10 ACC conference record. The last meeting between the two teams was in 2020, with Tech taking an 11-1 win in six innings. Bears will have to look out for senior catcher Emma Kauf who leads the team in hits (32) and runs (24) with a .348 hitting percentage.

Rebeca Laudino leads the conference in hits (43) and steal attempts (15). She is ranked third in batting percentage at .387.
Tori Hedgecock is tied at first for home runs (10) after a homer led the Bears to a 2-1 victory in extra innings over UTC on Sunday.
Kylie Helm sits in the top ten in runs batted in with 20 on the season.
