MACON, Ga. –The Mercer Men's soccer team will travel to Madison, Wisconsin on Friday, September 8 to battle the University of Wisconsin at 8 p.m. ET at the McClimon Track/Soccer Complex.

SERIES HISTORY | LAST MEETING
This will be the first match between Mercer and Wisconsin.

LAST TIME OUT
Mercer moves to 3-1-0 on the season, while the Jacksonville University moves to 0-4-0 on the season. Junior forward Kadeem Agard would start the scoring off for the Bears in the 37th minute. Agard would win a header and place it bottom left corner of the goal off a ball played from Nat McDonald. The Dolphins would answer in the 70th minute, tying the game 1-1 with 20 minutes left. Mercer would find the back of the net one last time in the 83rd minute. Barzee Blama would score his third goal of the season off the assist from graduate midfielder Dylan Gaither.

Throughout four game this season, the Badgers are 3-1 coming off a 2-0 loss against University of Illinois Chicago. The Badgers have beaten No. 2 ranked Kentucky in 1-0 game in Madison, Wisconsin. Wisconsin was selected to finish sixth in nine-team Big Ten conference in the preseason. The Badgers had three players named to the 2023 Big Ten players to watch. Midfielders Maxwell Keenan and Tim Bielic were each added to the list while transfer goalkeeper Nate Crockford was also added to the list.
