Women's Golf Heads To Mississippi For The Ally

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's golf team heads to West Point, Mississippi for The Ally from October 21-23. The tournament, hosted by Mississippi State, will feature 16 teams who will play 54 holes over the course of the three-day tournament.

The field features three teams currently ranked in the top 20 in the country in No. 5 Mississippi State, No. 11 Vanderbilt, and No. 19 Auburn. Teams will compete at the Old Waverly Golf Club which has hosted several high-profile championship golf events such as the SEC Women's Championship and the 1999 U.S. Women's Open.

It will be the first tournament for the Bears since the Golfweek Red Sky Classic Sept. 23-25. The Bears finished 9th out of 16 teams at the tournament. Emilia Väistö finished tied for 14th at 1-under par, 214.
