MACON, Ga. - The Mercer men's basketball team returns home to play Trinity Baptist Wednesday night. Tip off is at 7 p.m. from Hawkins Arena.

The game will be broadcasted live on ESPN+, as well as on radio on the SportsMic app with veteran Mercer broadcaster Rick Cameron handling the play-by-play duties.

SERIES HISTORY

Wednesday night will be the first all-time meeting between Mercer and Trinity Baptist.

Alex Holt and Ahmad Robinson led the Bears in scoring with 12 points each, but Mercer couldn't overcome a hot shooting DePaul team as the Blue Demons handed the Bears their first loss of the season, 95-64 Monday night from Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

Mercer had 11 steals with four different players getting two steals on the night. Angel Montas Jr. was two rebounds shy of a double-double with 10 points and a career-high eight rebounds.

Trinity Baptist plays in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). The Eagles are 0-2 on the season and played one upcoming opponent that the Bears will play later this season in Jacksonville to open the season. Jacksonville defeated Trinity Baptist, 78-65.
