Women's Golf Heads To Spartanburg For Match Against Wofford On Monday

Teams will play 18 holes on Monday

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's golf team heads to Spartanburg, South Carolina to take on SoCon foe Wofford on Monday. Mercer and Wofford will play 18-holes on Monday from the Country Club of Spartanburg. The teams will play six golfers in their lineup, counting the lowest four individual scores towards the team score.

Mercer opened its fall season last Monday at the Tiger Classic in Clemson, South Carolina where freshman Emilia Väistö finished in third place at 5-under, 139. Väistö was named Southern Conference Golfer of the Week for her performance. As a team, the Bears finished in fifth place in the 16-team field.
