Bears Set To Play In Golfweek Fall Challenge Starting Sunday

MACON - The Mercer men's golf team heads to Pawleys Island, S.C. this weekend for the first tournament of 2024-25 season, the Golfweek Fall Challenge. The three-day event will be played at True Blue Golf Club.

The Bears opened the fall slate on Labor Day with match play against Georgia Southern. The event consisted of fourball play in the morning, followed by singles play in the afternoon. Georgia Southern took the victory on the day by a score of 12.5-2.5. Freshman Henry Robards won his singles match against Georgia Southern's Elijah Zamarron, and will be in the Mercer lineup for this week's tournament.
