MACON – Visiting Jacksonville scored a trio of runs on as many hits and four errors in the first two innings alone to provide more than enough run support for right-hander Skylar Waggoner as the Dolphins slipped past Mercer, 4-1, on Saturday afternoon in the MUSB Invitational at Sikes Field.

The setback snapped a two-game winning skein for the Bears (7-5) who committed a season-high five errors in the loss as well. It was the seventh win in the last eight outings for the Dolphins (9-5) who finished their stay in Macon with a trio of victories.
