Saturday's rout marked the seventh win in the last eight outings for the Bears (25-22, 6-8 SoCon) who paid tribute to its 8-member senior class following the conclusion of the contest. It is the eighth-straight loss for the Catamounts (20-27, 4-11).

Senior Katheryn Rearley (4-2) struck out three in 1-2/3 innings of scoreless relief to pick up the win for the Orange & Black. Junior Grace Taylor struck out one and did not allow a run in 1-1/3 innings pitched but was not awarded a decision.
