Mercer (9-10) took a 2-1 lead in the second inning on a solo home run by Abby Walsh, but the Panthers (11-5) hit the gas pedal over the next two frames to jump out to a 10-2 lead by the end of the fourth. A sacrifice fly in the fifth by Danielle Castleberry and an unearned run from Meghan Rud in the seventh was all Mercer could muster otherwise.

PLAYER OF THE GAME
Abby Walsh had a solid game at the plate with a 2-for-4 performance. The solo home run was her lone RBI, but she scored twice for Mercer in the loss.

Taylor Miller's two stolen bases pushed her total to five for the day against Kansas and FIU. The senior is a perfect 11-for-11 in stolen base attempts this season.
