KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Matching up against the No. 16 team in the nation, the Mercer men's tennis team was defeated by Tennessee, 7-0, on Friday afternoon.

In a top 50 ITA singles matchup, No. 46 Olivier Stuart took on No. 23 Adam Walton. This was the third match of the season, however, Stuart was defeated by Walton. Walton took the first set 6-1, and led 2-0 before Stuart retired.

In No. 5 singles, David Georgadze dropped the first set 6-1 and needed to win the second set. He forced a tie breaker before falling 7-3 in the tie breaker.
