Men's Tennis Welcomes Covenant Tuesday Afternoon

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's tennis squad will play its third consecutive home match at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon when the Covenant Scots visit the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center.

SCOUTING THE SCOTS
Covenant is an NCAA Division III institution and competes in the USA South. The Scots are 5-3 overall and won their lone conference contest, 9-0, over LaGrange College. In doubles action, Solomon Crouch and Austin Dreslinksi are 6-2 on court one. Paxton Haggerty and Ben Luke have played all eight matches in the second flight and are 5-3 overall. As a team, the Scots are 15-9 (0.625) in doubles action. In singles play, Dreslinksi leads Covenant with a 7-1 record in the No. 2 flight. Luke has played all eight matches on court one and has compiled a 6-2 record. Ethan Gibson (No. 3) and Crouch (No. 4) are the only other two players to compete in each match, and both are 6-2 on the season. The Scots are a stellar 38-10 (.792) in singles play. No player has lost more than two matches.
