MACON, Ga. – The Mercer Bears softball team will travel to Cullowhee, N.C. for their fourth conference series. Both the Bears and the Catamounts hold a 2-7 conference record.

MERCER OUTLOOK
The Bears dropped their midweek matchup against Auburn and are looking to improve their 2-7 conference record.

Diamond Williams leads the team with a batting average of .337. Williams is tied with Annie Potter in doubles (7). Potter and Alyssa Woods are tied at two triples. Rebeca Laudino leads in runs (20), hits (36) and RBIs (17). Kenlie Harvey leads with three homeruns. Tori Hedgecock has 21 total walks.

In the circle, Hannah Pitts leads with a 4.82 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP. Pitts holds a W-L record of 4-12.

SCOUTING WESTERN CAROLINA
The Catamounts are 15-24 on the season with a conference record of 2-7.

Bailey Huneycutt holds the highest batting average of .321 and leads in hits (36), homeruns (9), RBIs (32), and walks (17). Brooklynn Brewington leads in runs with 21 while Samantha Reele is the leader in doubles (2).

Jayme Eilers is 4-3 on the season and has the lowest ERA (1.38) and WHIP (.81). Savannah Rice has spent the most time in the circle with a record of 8-10. Rice has an ERA of 3.44 and a WHIP of 1.36.

Head Coach Jim Clift is within his 11^th season.
