Sunday Doubleheader Against ABAC

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's tennis program will host a doubleheader against Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on Sunday, February 5 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Randy Stephens Tennis Center.

RECENT ACTION
The Bears earned two wins behind a 6-1 victory over Alabama A&M and 7-0 win over Piedmont last weekend. Nemanja Stefanovic and Samuel Barrow each finished 4-0 on the day with singles and doubles victories in both matches. Stefanovic swept Vence N'Tcha of Alabama A&M 6-0, 6-0, and Samuel Barrow played a perfect 6-0, 6-0 match against Ryan Paugh of Piedmont.

SCOUTING ABAC
The Stallions played an exhibition match against Embry Riddle, falling 6-1. ABAC opens the season against Warner University on Saturday before venturing to Macon. At the ITA JUCO Southeast Regional Championships in the fall, Aymen Alimoussa and Safar Rasulov advanced to the doubles final.

Rasulov is currently the 4^th-ranked JUCO singles player in the country while Alimoussa lands at 16^th in the rankings. Noah Burton (29^th) and Luke Tinnock (38^th) are also ranked in singles. Alimoussa and Rasulov are the 6^th-ranked doubles pair while Burton and Antoine Schaub are No. 22.
