No. 5 Mercer takes on No. 7 ETSU at SoCon Softball Championship

CHATTANOOGA, TN. – The Mercer softball team will travel to Chattanooga, Tennessee on Friday, May 12 for the SoCon Softball Championship. Their third match-up of the championship is against the No. 7 seeded ETSU.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
East Tennessee State University sits 17-36 on the season with an 6-12 conference record. They are 2-1 in this conference tournament, coming off a win over the No. 4 seeded WCU. ETSU is below Mercer in the SoCon standings and will be the Bears third opponent of the SoCon Championship. The Bears will have to watch out for Cameron Young, who ranks fourth in hits (58) and first in doubles (18).
