MACON – Redshirt freshman Rachel Sysum's 1-out sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fourth inning plated Olivia Lenzen with the eventual game-winning run as the Bears rallied behind a solid outing from right-hander Grace Roark to upend Wofford, 2-1, in the rubber game of a weekend series on Sunday afternoon at Sikes Field.

The decision gave Mercer (15-17, 3-3 SoCon) its second series win of the season, while also marking MU's 15^th home win of the campaign – the most for the program in eight seasons. It was the third loss in the last four outings for the Terriers (24-8, 3-3) who have now dropped consecutive games for just the second time all season.

Roark (3-6) struck out two and scattered eight hits across her fifth complete game of the season, while senior Avery Barton tallied her Southern Conference-leading 11^th home run of the campaign.
